1. About Us

Rivercreeklabs is a state-registered breeder of purebred Labrador Retrievers. We raise our puppies in our home with care, health testing, and AKC registration. Our website provides information about available puppies and allows you to inquire about or reserve a puppy.

2. Inquiries and Reservations

Inquiries: Submitting an inquiry through our contact form does not create a binding agreement or guarantee that a puppy will be available. We will respond to inquiries as promptly as possible. All inquiries are subject to puppy availability and our approval process.

Reservations: A reservation is confirmed only when we have communicated with you, agreed on a specific puppy (if applicable), and received any required deposit as specified in our written confirmation. We reserve the right to decline any reservation at our sole discretion.

Availability: Puppy availability, pricing, and selection are subject to change without notice. We do not guarantee that any puppy displayed on our website will remain available.

3. Deposits and Payments

Deposit amounts, payment schedules, and accepted payment methods will be communicated in writing at the time of reservation. Deposits are generally non-refundable except as expressly stated in our written agreement or as required by applicable law. Final payment is typically due at or before puppy pickup. We reserve the right to require payment in full before releasing a puppy.

4. Health Guarantee and Veterinary Care

Our puppies are health tested and come with documentation as described at the time of sale. Specific terms of any health guarantee, including coverage period, conditions, and exclusions, will be provided in writing with your puppy. You agree to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within the timeframe specified in our health guarantee (typically within 72–96 hours of pickup) and to provide us with a copy of the examination report if requested. Failure to comply may void the health guarantee.

We recommend that you maintain regular veterinary care, vaccinations, and preventive treatments for your puppy. We are not responsible for illnesses, conditions, or expenses arising after the puppy leaves our care, except as expressly covered by our written health guarantee.

5. Puppy Pickup and Delivery

Pickup arrangements, including date, time, and location, will be agreed upon in writing. You are responsible for picking up your puppy at the designated time or making alternative arrangements with us in advance. If you fail to pick up your puppy within a reasonable period as agreed, we may treat the reservation as cancelled and retain any deposit. We are not obligated to hold a puppy indefinitely.

If delivery or shipping is arranged, additional terms, costs, and risks will be specified in a separate agreement. Transport of live animals involves inherent risks; we recommend pickup when feasible.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Deposits are generally non-refundable. If you cancel a reservation, we may, at our discretion, apply your deposit toward a future litter or another puppy, subject to availability and our approval. Refunds, if any, will be handled on a case-by-case basis and only as expressly agreed in writing.

If we are unable to fulfill a reservation due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., health issues with the puppy, loss of a litter), we will work with you in good faith to offer an alternative puppy or a refund of any deposit paid.

7. Website Use and Intellectual Property

You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, networks, or data
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content (text, images, logos) without our prior written consent
• Use our name, trademarks, or content for commercial purposes without permission

All content on this website, including text, images, photographs, logos, and design, is the property of Rivercreeklabs or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimers

Our website and the information on it are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Descriptions and photographs of puppies are provided for informational purposes; actual appearance and characteristics may vary.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rivercreeklabs and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or your transaction with us, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the puppy in question.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For existing reservations, the Terms in effect at the time of your reservation may apply; we will notify you of any material changes that affect your reservation.
